JBL has introduced the new JBL PartyBox 720 in Malaysia, a massively upgraded party speaker that brings 800W of powerful JBL Pro Sound, AI-enhanced audio, and an all-new portable design built for both indoor and outdoor events. With bigger bass, brighter lights and a longer-lasting battery system, the PartyBox 720 is engineered to keep parties going longer, louder, and with far more flair than before.

The PartyBox 720’s headline feature is its huge 800W output, powered by two 9-inch woofers that deliver clean, punchy bass even at maximum volume. The speaker incorporates JBL’s latest AI Sound Boost system, which analyses audio in real time to reduce distortion and optimise clarity regardless of how loud the party gets. Users who want an even bigger soundstage can pair two PartyBox 720 units to create stereo output, or link it with any Auracast-enabled JBL speaker to build a multi-speaker setup capable of filling even large venues like basketball courts.

Complementing the audio power is a dynamic next-generation lightshow that transforms any party space into a full-on visual experience. From starry ambient glows to high-energy strobe effects, the lighting automatically syncs with the music and can be customised through the JBL PartyBox app, letting users personalise colours, patterns and behaviours to match the mood of their event.

Designed for real-world use, the PartyBox 720 is built to travel. JBL has upgraded the chassis with wider, sturdier wheels and an ergonomic integrated handle, making it easier to roll across outdoor areas or move between rooms. The speaker is also IPX4 splash-resistant, offering reassurance when dealing with poolside splashes, light rain or sweaty dance floors. To handle marathon events, JBL includes two replaceable batteries, each providing up to 15 hours of playtime, and users can get an extra two hours of playback from just 10 minutes of fast charging.

Connectivity is equally versatile. The PartyBox 720 supports high-quality Combo Jack-XLR input for audio sources, alongside two XLR ports for connecting microphones, guitars or DJ equipment—making it suitable not just for parties, but also for live performances, community events or busking. Bluetooth streaming and Auracast pairing round out the ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with smartphones and other JBL devices.

The JBL PartyBox 720 will be available in Malaysia starting mid-December for RM4,999 through JBL’s official website, Shopee and Lazada.
