Apple doesn’t typically compare numbers and specs with other smartphones in the competition, hence the company does not officially reveal details such as the amount of RAM underneath the hood of its iPhones or their battery sizes. However, a TENAA check finally shows us some interesting numbers of the recently launched iPhone X.

Chinese regulator TENAA has revealed that the iPhone X sports the same amount of RAM as the less revolutionary iPhone 8 Plus – 3GB. While the iPhone X is the first handset by Apple that has a near bezel-less display on the front, its battery is still smaller in general like other Apple iPhones, especially when compared to Android flagships.

According to TENAA, the iPhone X packs a 2,716mAh battery, which is nearly 30 percent smaller than that of the Samsung Galaxy S8. One thing to note is that the iPhone X’s battery is only a tad larger than the one in the iPhone 8 Plus (2,675mAh).

The above details tell us that the iPhone X will likely have the same performance as the iPhone 8 Plus with the same processor and same amount of RAM. Apart from Face ID and a near bezel-less display, it looks like there isn’t much else that significantly separates the iPhone X from the iPhone 8 Plus.
