Rumour has it Apple will be launching a new app codenamed “Seymour” and it’ll consist of fitness videos of many sorts to guide Apple users to a healthy lifestyle.
This isn’t surprising at all since Apple already has its Health app and Apple Watch that has many features to monitor one’s health. However, this will more useful than just tracking your steps or heart rate — it’ll offer you different forms of exercises to try out.
According to CNBC’s source, this app is an idea by Jay Blank, a fitness instructor and author. It will be launched in iOS 14 and will be accessible through iPhones and also Apple Watches. This app is also reported to be free, unlike many other apps that will require a subscription price when it comes to workout guides.
On a side note, recent reports also hint towards the Apple Watch Series 6 getting a built-in blood oxygen level monitor. This will allow the watch to notify users when their blood oxygen levels are irregular so that they can identify illnesses like sleep apnea and asthma.
