IPhone 7's storage to start at 32GB

Apple’s iPhones will probably never have expandable storage on top of their internal storage, but as iOS and its app platform gradually developed to be more sophisticated and feature-filled, many have criticized the iPhone for having as little as 16GB of internal storage for years now. But a new rumor from Chinese micro blogging site Weibo suggests that the iPhone 7 will not offer a 16GB storage option.

According to Weibo micro blogger Kevin Wang, who happens to be a market researcher at IHS Technology in China, the new iPhone will retain the same RAM memory of 2GB, and the baseline storage for the phone will be 32GB instead of the usual 16GB. We’ve came across a recent rumor that the iPhone 7 might be offered in a 256GB storage option, but that “leak” came with a 16GB one as well.

If this rumor turns out to be true, Apple fans will probably be relieved. But as far as price goes, iPhones won’t come any cheaper if Apple decides to remove the 16GB option. Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
