Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently reported that the new iPhone 14 lineup in 2022 will consists of fours flagships – two low-end models and two high-end models. These phones will come in two sizes – 6.1 inches and 6.7-inches.
iPhone 14 to get a 48MP lens upgrade?
The 2022 iPhones are also predicted to come with an under-display Touch ID and an upgraded 48MP camera. This means that the iPhone 13 series that will be released this year will likely stick with the 12MP lenses.
Goodbye Mini, Hello Max
The naming will also be slightly different; there will no longer be a 5.4-inch iPhone mini. Instead, we’re getting the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Max will be the cheapest 6.7-inch iPhone Apple has to offer, expected to be less than $900.
iPhone 14 Max to be the cheapest 6.7-inch iPhone ever
If this is true, we should be expecting the iPhone 14 Max to be less than RM4,500 when it’s launched. The non-pro models probably won’t be getting the 48MP upgrade, allowing them to be priced at a lower cost. Kuo’s previous report also suggested that the iPhone 14 models will come with a punch-hole display.
