The upcoming iPhone 13 lineup will finally support a 120Hz refresh rate, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo as reported by MacRumors.
Android phones have embraced 120Hz displays, when will iPhones join the club?
We have been waiting for iPhones to get a 120Hz display like other Android flagships, but Apple did not include that in the iPhone 12 as expected by many. However, analysts and leakers like Jon Prosser, Max Weinbach and Ross Young have high expectation that it will happen for the iPhone 13 models — even if it’s not for all the models, the pro variants should have it.
Finally, Apple is planning on reducing notch size?

Apart from a battle display, these iPhones are expected to have smaller notches with larger batteries, making them heavier than before. Kuo mentioned that the Lightning port it more waterproof than the USB-C port, so Apple will probably just stick to Lightning port until it’s ready to go for a portliness design. However, the LiDAR Scanner will remain available to the pro models only.
iPhone 13 will have better cameras too
We can also expect the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s sensor-shift image stabilisation to be included in all the iPhone 12 models, in addition to an upgrade to the ultra wide lens of the iPhone 13 Pro models — Kuo says that it will have better autofocus and a wider ƒ/1.8 aperture.
The next iPhone SE will take a break this year

On the other hand, the next iPhone SE will not be debuting this year. Kuo revealed that its earliest release will by in the first half of 2022 in which it’ll still sport the same design as the current iPhone SE, but with 5G connectivity and a better chip — perhaps the A15 bionic chip that will be debuting with this year’s iPhone 13.
