As Apple is about to start selling the new iPhone 11 and 11 Pro in Malaysia this week, it has pushed out the iOS 13.1 to existing iOS users that squashes the bugs and instability found on iOS 13 while introducing some new features exclusive for the new iPhones.
iOS 13.1 features a new way to AirDrop content by pointing from the new iPhone 11(s) to one another by using the new U1 chip for spatial awareness, it also optimizes battery charging to slow the rate of battery aging by reducing the time your iPhone spends fully charged. If you happen to use Apple Maps, you will now be able to share ETA to your friends.
This isn’t the first time Apple has had to push software updates shortly after a major update release, however its track record of being able to address the buggy issues on iOS 13 and got them resolve in weeks is certainly commendable. We doubt the new iPhones will ship with iOS 13.1 so its best that you hit the software update section after you activate your iPhone.
