Integral introduces a 512GB microSD card

We recently saw that Sandisk release a microSD card that can hold up to 400GB of data which was the biggest amount of storage an microSD could hold. Integral has dethroned Sandisk and created a microSD card that can hold 512GB of data making it the highest capacity microSD card in the market.

The card has an 80MB/s transfer speed which in accordance to the UHS-I Class 1 specification and it also meets the requirements of Video Speed Class 10 which makes it perfect for capturing FHD videos and would be just decent for transferring 4K videos. Based on their packaging, it would seem like they are targeting smartphone and tablet users as they have icons of apps, music and pictures on the bottom of the package with no mention of camera use.

Sadly, there is no mention the price for this microSD card but seeing as the SanDisk 400GB microSD card cost RM1,499, the Integral would probably cost more than that. There will be more details of its pricing closer to its February 2018 release
