Instagram is bringing in-app translation in the coming month

We’ve seen advertising on Instagram last year and in the coming month, the Facebook owned app will come with in-app translation that is able to translate posts and comments into the user’s preferred language. If you have been using the translation feature in Facebook, it should work similarly on Instagram as users will be able to tap the ‘See translation’ option in a comment or caption, the text will then be instantly translated into the smartphone’s display language. Instagram has been fairly slow in catching up with other social media platforms in terms of features, the translation feature is definitely a great news for those who have always wanted to learn foreign languages that their friends posted. Instagram has mentioned that the translation feature could be made available as soon as July with a limited number of supported languages to begin with, so do keep your Instagram app updated all the time, because you never know it could even appear earlier than usual.
