We are still two weeks away from the unveiling of the Huawei Mate 10, and Huawei is expected to unveil one important feature of its new smartphone in its IFA press conference tomorrow – the Kirin 970 SoC. As the media invite teases with a tagline ‘Expect The Unexpected’ with a #HUAWEIMOBILEAI, the company seems to be serious about integrating artificial intelligence learning into its new mobile processor, it will feature a 10nm manufacturing process and sports 5.5 billion transistors, 8 CPU cores, 12 GPU cores and a dual ISP, reports have also claimed that the chip will be 25 times faster than a normal CPU core and 50 times more efficient.
While we might not expect any new smartphones from Huawei’s IFA event tomorrow, we do however assume that Huawei might bring some new tablets to the table.
