Huawei has one of the better smartwatches we have seen with the Huawei Watch 2. Its been a while since we head any news from them about a new smartwatch other than the prototype designs of a smartwatch that has earphones attached to it. Now, it looks like the company has a new upcoming smartwatch that was recently certified in Europe and it is called the Huawei Watch GT.
The Watch GT comes with a 410mAh battery which is 10mAh smaller than the Huawei Watch 2, but it is still a decent size. Other than that, the Watch GT supports 5 watts of charging via the charging pad which has a USB Type-C port. It also comes with a built-in GPS and other fitness tracking features as well as support for NFC payments. Powering the watch is a Snapdragon 3100 processor which is made for wearables.
The Huawei Watch GT will launch the same time as the Mate 20 and it will be running on Wear OS.
