The Huawei Watch 3 series has been announced, bringing with it two products – the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro.
Both devices come with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display that pushes a 466×466 resolution. The bezels on the circular display are relatively thin so you get more screen real-estate. The watch also comes with a rotatable crown which can be used for scrolling through the watches’ features.
What sets the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro are the materials used to create the chassis – the former packs a stainless-steel body, while the latter has a titanium body. Besides that, the Watch 3 has a 450mAh pack, while the Watch 3 Pro has a larger 790mAh battery.
Under the hood is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage along. The watch runs on HarmonyOS 2 and is compatible with at least an Android 6 or iOS 9.0 smartphone. The Watch 3 series also supports eSIM tech.
When it comes to health-tracking features, both watches offer a 24/7 heart-rate and blood oxygen monitoring feature; for sports, there are over 100 modes to choose from. On top of those, there are also sleep, stress, calories burned, and step count tracking too.
The Huawei Watch 3 is priced at RM1,699 while the Watch 3 Pro will set you back RM2,199 – pre-orders will open this 25 June via Huawei’s online store, as well as their Lazada and Shopee pages.
