The HUAWEI nova 7 SE is debuting in Malaysia soon to join the nova 7i in Malaysia, followed by the nova 7 which will arrive at a later date. The two newer models will be equipped with 5G connectivity, unlike the nova 7i.
HUAWEI nova 7 SE
As of now, only the HUAWEI nova 7 SE is listed on the official site. The nova 7 SE has a 6.5-inch LCD display featuring a punch-hole cutout and comes in two colours — Space Silver and Crush Green.
Under the hood, the nova 7 SE has 8GB + 128GB storage and is powered by a Kirin 820 chipset. It ships with EMUI 10.1.1 and has a 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge.
HUAWEI nova 7
The nova 7 is powered by a Kirin 985 5G chipset, giving it superiority in performance over the nova 7 SE. It also comes with a similar storage configuration, but there could be an extra option to get the device with 256GB storage. The nova 7 is exactly like the nova 7 SE in terms of battery and fast charging.
The nova 7 is also coming with a 64MP quad-camera, but it will feature an 8MP telephoto lens instead of a portrait lens. HUAWEI also upgraded its selfie camera to a 32MP lens with HDR support.
Pricing and availability
The HUAWEI nova 7 SE will be available from June 19 onwards and just like newer HUAWEI/HONOR phones, the nova 7 SE will use HUAWEI AppGallery. Although HUAWEI hasn’t officially released the local pricing for the phone, the company did hint that the nova 7 SE will be above RM1,000. As for the HUAWEI nova 7, it will be launching at a later date that hasn’t been revealed yet. For more information, check out HUAWEI’s Facebook page and official site.
