The Huawei MatePad Pro has finally been launched in Malaysia sporting a sizeable 10.8-inch QHD display, a flagship Kirin 990 chipset, as well as keyboard and stylus support.
The familiar-looking device has packs Huawei’s QHD FullView Display with a 90-percent screen-to-body ratio. The tab itself weighs 492g and is 7.99mm thin. It’s got aluminium bumpers that are curved every so slightly.
Under the hood is a very capable Kirin 990 chipset along with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. With that kind of power, multitasking with features like Multi-Window will be a breeze.
For imaging, the MatePad Pro comes with a single 13MP main lens and an 8MP selfie shooter – nothing to shout about here, but it’s serviceable. The main camera can record videos at 2160p @ 30FPS or 1080p at 30FPS.
The tab has support for their own stylus called the M-pencil which can be attached to the tablet magnetically to be charged. On top of that, the MatePad Pro supports a magnetic keyboard too.
The tablet is powered with a 7,250mAh battery and supports up to 15W fast charging or 40W with a cable. It can also reverse charge devices at 7.5W.
