The HUAWEI MateBook D 15 laptop that was only available in China is now coming to Malaysia on January 18 for RM2,499.

The 15.6-inch laptop has an FHD IPS panel, narrow bezels, and an 87% screen-to-body ratio, weighing at only 1.53 kg. If you’re a HUAWEI smartphone user, you can also use HUAWEI One Tap Share to connect your smartphone to the MateBook without an Internet connection and transfer files seamlessly between both devices.

For extra security, the MateBook D 15 has a fingerprint reader so you can easily log in and a recessed camera that only pops up when needed. With its new Shark Fin Fan, the fan blades are optimized for faster cooling to offer better laptop performance.

The MateBook D 15 is powered by a 12nm AMD Ryzen 5 3500U mobile processor paired with an AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics processor. It comes with 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD storage and 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage. In addition to its huge storage, the laptop also has a 42Whr battery that supports fast charging. HUAWEI included a 65W USB-C charger that can not only charge the laptop but also other HUAWEI devices.

Alongside the USB-C charging port, the laptop also has two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, one audio jack, and one HDMI port.

The HUAWEI MateBook D 15 can be purchased online at HUAWEI’s official site from January 18 onwards, but if you want to be reminded as soon as it’s available, you can click on the “Notify Me” button in the page.
