In the race to produce a phone with a front that consists of no notch and only the screen, Huawei wants to lead the pack as they have commissioned Samsung to create a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen for an upcoming phone.
This makes Huawei take home the prize as the rumour mill has mentioned that the Galaxy Note 9 will come with a 6.4-inch screen while the upcoming iPhone will have a 6.5-inch screen. Producing the biggest screen out of everyone else might seem like they have won the screen size battle but an issue might arise for users that have small hands, as it would be hard to navigate and use the phone. Other than that, the Mate 20 Pro is expected to come with the Kirin 980 processor, up to 6GB of RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor, 42MP triple-camera setup on the rear and support for 40W fast-charging.
We can expect more information on the phone in the coming weeks leading up to its launch which presumably will happen on October 2018 as they released the Mate 10 Pro on October of 2017.
