Huawei is about to release their successor to the P10 phones and they have set up a billboard ad that shows the P20 will have a Pro variant which uses the power of AI to enhance its photo taking capabilities. Based on the ad, the AI camera will also come to the regular P20 as well.
Huawei usually releases a Plus variant of their phones, as seen in the P10 Plus and the P9 Plus, but it looks like they are taking a different approach with the new P-series phone and changed the Plus to Pro. Although the ad confirmes that a Pro variant is coming, they have not mentioned anything else about the phone, other than it will be unveiled on March 27, 2018. One can assume, that the Pro version could come with different specs, but there is some expectation that the P20 Pro will come with a three-camera setup on the back while the regular P20 will come with a dual-camera setup.
Random ad board at Plaça d'España has the first mention I've seen calling out P20 Pro as this year's second model. (RIP P20 Plus?) pic.twitter.com/6S7gb3m6jz
