Many of you would have heard of the HTC Vive VR headset. First launched in April, the headset has seen been received well by everyone who has tried it. Sales on the device ain’t too shabby either as shortages were reported during the first week of launch. Now though, HTC is looking at the business sector, and reports are coming in that HTC will be shipping a Vive bundle known as the Vive Business Edition.

So what’s in the Vive Business Edition? For starters, the Vive Business Edition comes with the headset and all the accessories that the consumer version has. This means that Business Edition users will get a headset, two Vive controllers, two base stations and four face cushions. The difference is that the Vive Business Edition owners will receive a dedicated customer support line. Another perk of the Vive Business Edition is that those interested are able to buy more than one headset. For reference, sales of the Vive to general consumers are limited to a single unit. Besides that, HTC will also be offering commercial license and limited 12-month guarantee as part of the Vive Business Edition package, which is an upgrade to the consumer version’s guarantee which applies only to non-commercial application.

As the Vive Business Edition is aimed towards companies rather than consumers, the price tag on this bundle is appropriately higher. The Vive Business Edition costs USD 1,200, which is a USD 399 increase over the consumer version of the Vive. The Vive Business Edition will launch this month in the US, Canada, UK, Germany and Franace, and will arrive in other countries “in the coming weeks.”
