HTC is releasing a mid-range phablet with a bezeless display

Phablets are all the rage now and HTC is banking on the hype by releasing a mid-range phablet they are calling the Ocean Harmony. Based on its recent China Compulsory Certificate filing the phone will be a decent competitor in the mid-range market.

Based on the filing, the phone will come with a 5.99-inch bezeless display, Snapdragon 652, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is still no information on how the device will actually look like, but we can assume that it will have the same design profile as the U11 Plus phone. Chinese media are speculating that the phone will cost CNY 2,599 (RM1598.10) and another variant with a Snapdragon 660 processor will cost CNY3,599 (RM2212.99).

HTC has been struggling for quite awhile now, but with the release of the U11 and the response that it got, HTC could be back on track being one of the most sought-after phones in the market
