The big day for HTC has finally arrive to announce its 2014 flagship here in Malaysia today. HTC Malaysia has partnered with Maxis again this year to offer customers the HTC One M8 at a subsidised price from RM1399 with TalkMore 78 on a 24-month contract from May 9, 2014 onwards, which gives you savings of up to RM1000. The HTC One M8 will also be available in Gunmetal Gray and Glacial Silver, it retails at the price of RM2399 off contract.
“We are constantly focused on building the best smartphone in design and innovation while expanding our product portfolio at the same time. This opportunity to work exclusively with Maxis will enable us to bring the best experience and affordable HTC devices to Malaysian consumers. We are truly excited to be working with Maxis,” said Jack Yang, President, HTC South Asia.
In conjunction with the launch of the One M8, both companies entered into an agreement whereby they’ll be introducing the mid range Desire series to the Malaysian market. Therefore, we expect the Desire 816 and Desire 610 announced back in MWC2014 to reach our shores very soon.
