HTC was once popular with its smartphones but that has obviously gone down the hill in the recent years. The company isn’t giving up though; HTC plans to launch a new phone on June 11.
There hasn’t been any names revealed for the smartphone, but the launch date itself is confirmed by HTC Taiwan in its Facebook post. However, there is a HTC device that appeared on AnTuTu and Geekbench that could possibly be the upcoming device.
If so, then the upcoming HTC phone will sport a 6-inch FHD+ display. It will also be powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and ships with Android 9. It is expected to have no notch and come with a rather thick chin.
That aside, the HTC phone will house a 3,930mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4. It will also sport dual cameras on both its front and back, summing up to four cameras altogether.
HTC is not the only brand launching something on June 11 as it was also reported that Xiaomi will launch the Mi Band 4 on the same day.
