HP’s has had a busy morning today as the company announced the arrival of the all new Spectre 13 Notebook, ENVY 15 laptop and the HP Elitebook Folio G1 Notebooks at Aloft today.
The main highlight for the launch even was, of course, the Spectre 13. Measuing at just 10.4mm thick and weighing at 1.11kg, HP has touted that the Spectre 13 is the thinnest notebook in the world. Aside from its small form factor, the Spectre 13 itself is a rather powerful workstation as well. Depending on the specifications, the Spectre 13 can either sport an Intel Core i7-6500U processor or an Intel Core i5-6200U processor. Besides that, the laptop comes with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 256GB PCIe SSD, three USB Type-C ports with two of them being Thunderbolt ports, and a 4-cell 38WHr Li-ion polymer battery. Other notable features of the Spectre 13 is the Bang & Olufsen quad speakers. The i5 variant of the Spectre 13 will retail for RM 5,999, while the i7 variant will retail for RM 6,900.
Next up on HP’s list of notebooks is the ENVY 15. Stated to be a versatile all-rounder that redefines technological imitations that understands mobile and performance needs, the ENVY 15 features a sleek, metal design with an edge-to-edge flush glass display for beautiful viewing experiences. Powering the ENVY 15 is an Intel Core i5-6200U processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 1TB SATA hard drive for storage, one USB Type-C port and 3 USB Type-A ports. The ENVY 15 will have a starting price of RM 3,699.
Lastly, HP has revealed the business-centric Elitebook Folio G1. Sporting an Intel Core M processor, 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, up to 256GB of SSD storage and two USB Type-C Thunderbolt ports, the Elitebook Folio G1 is constructed out of hand-selected materials that makes it tougher than your average laptop. HP’s own suite of software is also available in the laptop itself to help beef up the security of the Elitebook Folio G1, allowing you to utilise the laptop to conduct business without needing to worrying about the device’s security. Pricing for the Intel Core m7 variant of the Elitebook Folio G1 begins at RM 6,199.
