In conjunction with the launch of the Honor Magic V3, Honor has also introduced the MagicBook Art 14 laptop and MagicPad 2 flagship tablet to the Malaysian market today, it is also the very first time that Honor is offering high-end laptops and tablets here, which signifies the brand’s confidence to the Malaysian market.
Honor MagicBook Art 14
The Honor MagicBook Art 14 is an ultra-slim and portable laptop that weighs just 1.02kg and measures 1cm thick, sporting a 14.6-inch 3.1K OLED touch screen that refreshes at 120Hz with 4320Hz PWM dimming, it comes in a single spec configuration and is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of storage.
Despite its slim form factor, the laptop managed to fit a full-size HDMI and USB port on the right that eliminates the need for a dongle when you want to connect peripherals, while it has two USB-C ports on the left that supports USB PD and USB 4 speeds.
Due to the high 97% screen-to-body ratio, the MagicBook Art 14 makes do with an external magnetic Full HD webcam that users can easily store in the laptop’s silo, which is a very interesting yet innovative design that many users will appreciate if they want the absolute privacy of not having a built-in webcam.
Honor MagicPad 2
Honor’s first high-end tablet challenges the latest iPad Air with a 5.8mm body profile and 555g weight, it is the only tablet within the price segment to sport a stunning 12.3-inch 3K OLED panel that refreshes at 144Hz, the tablet has an impressive durability all thanks to an advanced feather fiber material, it scores a 5 star SGS rating on bend resistance.
The MagicPad 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, which delivers great performance on most things you do, while its media consumption experience is further enhanced by an 8-speaker sound system that has IMAX Enhanced certification.
The tablet offers days of battery life with its large 10050mAh battery that supports 66W fast wired charging, while users can be more productive with the included Bluetooth Smart Keyboard and Honor Magic Pencil 3 active stylus.
Price and Availability
The Honor MagicBook Art 14 will be available for purchase starting 20 September 2024 for RM5,999, it comes with a free gift bundle worth RM1,106 including an Honor backpack, 1+2 Year extended warranty, one year free Microsoft 365 Subscription.
The Honor MagicPad 2 can be purchased from Honor.com starting today for RM2,799, it will be available nationwide on retail channels starting 13 September 2024 onwards.
