HONOR’s new MagicBook 14 AMD will go on sale this 1 October, and it’ll be priced at RM2,699 8GB+256GB model, and RM2,999 for the 8GB+512GB version.
One of the laptop’s biggest draws is its lightweight body – this iteration weighs 1.38KG and has a 15.9mm thickness, making it one of the more portable 14-inch laptops around.
In terms of design, the MagicBook 14 AMD comes in Mystic Silver and Space Grey, and sports the familiar azure blue chamfer we’ve seen on its predecessors.
The laptop packs a 14.-inch IPS FHD panel that’s surrounded by thin, 4.8mm bezels. It’s also got TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification too.
Under the hood is where we see it set itself apart from its predecessors – the laptop runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U CPU along with AMD Radeon integrated graphics. This setup allows you to play most e-sports titles at 1080p, low settings at a steady frame rate.
Powering the device is a 56Wh battery, which HONOR claims can give you up to 11 hours of video playback. There’s a 65W adapter that comes in the box to charge your laptop.
Elsewhere, there’s WiFi 6 support, Bluetooth 5.0, a fingerprint reader, a pop-up webcam, Magic Link, which lets you easily link up your HONOR devices to the laptop.
You can visit HONOR’s webstore or Lazada page to snag yourself a HONOR MagicBook 14 AMD. Your purchase comes with a free laptop backpack, and wireless mouse.
