The HONOR 9X has arrived in Malaysia with quite a few upgrades over its predecessor.
The HONOR 9X comes with a 6.59-inch FullView display and has really narrow bezels, similar to the HONOR 8X. However, it no longer has a notch; it is now replaced with a pop-up mechanism. At the bottom, you’ll also find a USB-C port right next to its audio jack and the speaker grill. The SIM card tray is now located at the top and supports dual SIM.
Under the hood, the HONOR 9X is powered by a Kirin 710F chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also ships with EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9. Battery wise, HONOR has increased the battery capacity to 4,000mAh but sadly, the phone only support 10W charging.
Nevertheless, the HONOR 9X has gotten an extra lens this time, making it a device with triple camera setup. It comes with a 48MP main lens which is accompanied by an 8MP super-wide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor, while its pop-up mechanism holds a 16MP front camera.
The HONOR 9X is available in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue and can be purchased at RM999. You can start pre-ordering the device from November 22 onwards on Hihonor and Lazada, while its official sale will start on November 28 on HONOR’s official stores on its online site, Lazada and Shopee. It will also be available in store on November 29.
