Honda introduces Accord 2.4 VTi-L Advance with Honda SENSING

After introducing the Honda SENSING safety technology to the Honda CR-V, Honda Malaysia is finally adding the feature to the Honda Accord 2.4 VTi-L Advance variant, while maintaining similar premium features that are already available on the current Honda Accord 2.4 VTi-L. With Honda SENSING, the Accord now comes fitted with a radar and camera sensor fitted at the front, which assists drivers to be safer on the road with features such as Forward Collision Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keep Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation and Lane Departure Warning.

Inside the Accord 2.4 VTi-L Advance, it remains the same as the standard variant, you have a 7-inch infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlyay, an Intelligent Multi Information Display (i-MID) that shows things such as driving range, fuel consumption and audio playback. Other standard safety features such as Honda LANEWATCH side mirror cameras, rear view camera, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability, and Six Airbags are still present on the Accord 2.4 VTi-L Advance.

Since the launch of the Accord in September 2016, Honda Malaysia has sold over 5,500 units of the premium sedan, with the 2.4 VTi-L variant contributing 25% and 2.0 VTi-L variant contributing 61% of the sales numbers, while the remaining 14% is contributed from the 2.0 VTi variant. Honda Malaysia has also teased the arrival of the Civic Type-R in today’s launch, which will be the sixth and last model of the year that will launch very soon.

The Honda Accord 2.4 VTi-L Advance is available now at all Honda showrooms and dealers nationwide, it replaces the 2.4 VTi-L and will retail for RM169,800.00 excluding insurance, the Accord 2.0 VTi-L will remain its current price at RM149,350.00 excluding insurance.
