HMD Global introduces the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus in Malaysia

HMD Global has officially introduced the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus to the Malaysian market and following close to home, the company had the launch at non-other than the Ambassador of Finland’s residence.

Nokia 6.1 Plus

The phone comes with a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a 19:9 screen aspect ratio with the support of 96% colour gamut which allows for beautiful content whether its watching videos or playing games.

It is equipped with the Snapdragon 636 and comes with a dual-sensor on the back which supports the bokeh feature for a beautiful blur effect for your pictures. On the front is a 16MP sensor. The phone supports Nokia’s iconic Bothie feature which allows you to record and take pictures with the front and back camera at the same time.

Nokia 5.1 Plus

The Nokia 5.1 Plus is equipped with the MediaTek Helio P60 processor which should handle all the latest games as well as everyday task with a breeze. On the back, there is a 13MP+15MP sensor with EIS. The display is a 5.8-inch HD+ display which is made more elegant with its 2.5D curved glass front and back.

Both the phones come in three colours, Gloss Black, Gloss White and Gloss Midnight Blue. Similar to previous Nokia phones, they come with Android One which gives you the latest updates as soon as it is released by Google. The Nokia 6.1 Plus will be available starting 26 September with a retail price of RM1149 and the Nokia 5.1 Plus will be announced at a later date.
