Grab itself has expanded greatly over the years, with more offers, rewards and even improvements in terms of its services and app experience. Even so, the company doesn’t stop as from today onwards, Grab users are allowed to pick their own radio brand.
Collaboration with Astro Radio, Grab users can now choose the radio brand that they want to listen to when they’re in the car, and they’ll be given a total of ten brands to be exact. These brands are HITZ, MIX, LITE, MY, MELODY, GOXUAN, ERA, SINAR, ZAYAN and RAAGA.
However, this new experience is not available to all Grab cars yet, and the vehicles with this new service can be identified through car wraps and in-car hangers. For now, Klang Valley seems to be the only area that includes this entertainment experience.
Users will also be notified if they’re taking a Grab car that supports the new experience by Astro Radio. They can choose to listen to any of the brands via the Grab app as they make their bookings and there will be no extra charges.
