GoPro’s Karma drone did not have the smooth launch that the company expected. Not long after the drone was available for purchase, users begin reporting that the Karma has a nasty tendency to lose power while in mid-flight. Things got so bad that GoPro was forced to issue a recall for the drone in early November. Now, three months after the Karma was recalled, GoPro is feeling confident about the Karma as the drones have returned to the market, albeit in a limited form.

Starting from today, those living in the U.S. can now purchase the Karma drone either through the GoPro website, or at select U.S. retailers like Best Buy and Amazon. For those living outside of the States, you’re going to have to wait a while as GoPro will only be servicing U.S.-based orders for now. GoPro has stated the Karma will be available to international customers by Spring at the earliest, so anyone here who’s thinking about getting the Karma are going to have to be patient.

As for pricing, GoPro did not offer any discounts to the Karma, so the drones will have the same pre-recall prices. The basic Karma drone with no camera will cost you USD799, while the Karma drone with a Hero 5 Black will cost you USD1,099. Additionally, GoPro will also be offering a version of Karma without a stabilizer for USD599.
