Google Pixelbook Go prototype leaked showing interesting back panel design

The upcoming Google Pixelbook Go has been ‘leaked’ by the folks at 9to5Google and it’s an apparently a very interesting device.

Touted to be announced during Google’s hardware event later this October 15. What makes this 2-in-1 different is that the bottom panel is made of a textured, ribbed material. We reckon it helps with grip when your clutching it under your arms.

The lid is also smooth with a matte finish, while the prototype that’s been leaked only has a placeholder logo. The laptop comes with two USB-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 13.3-inch device has a 1080p touchscreen display panel.

Under the hood, an Intel Core m3 CPU powers laptop, with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. According to reports, you can upgrade your device with either a Core i5 or Core i7 chip if you need something snappier. This is just a prototype however, so reserve judgement until Google unveils the actual device come October 15.
