This just in: Google is revealing the Pixel 4 and 4 XL on October 15 and we’re more than ready to see what Google has to offer.
Google has already teased the phone multiple times, including a feature called Motion Sense that lets you control some functions of the phone just by hand gestures. Apart from that, we also know that the Pixel 4 will support face unlock that is more similar to Apple’s Face ID compared to other Android devices’ face unlock.
As previous rumours have suggested, the Pixel 4 XL is expected to sport a 6.3-inch AMOLED display while the Pixel 4 will sport a 5.8-inch AMOLED display — similar to the current iPhone 11 Pro. These devices will come with 90Hz refresh rate and like mentioned, will support face unlock.
Other than that, rumours suggest the phone to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. Unfortunately, the Pixel 4 will only come with a 2,800mAh battery while the Pixel 4 XL will come with a 3,700mAh battery.
As for its cameras, the Pixel 4 models will sport a 12MP main lens paired with a 16MP telephoto lens while its front camera is going to be a wide-angle single lens.
We’re so glad the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is launching next month; the number of smartphones that was and will be launched this month i.e the iPhone 11, HUAWEI Mate 30, OPPO A9 2020, vivo NEX 3 5G and etcetera have been drowning us.
