The joy of taking pictures is sharing them with your loved ones, and with the age of digitalized photos, it just becomes that much easier to share your memories. Google understands that and has added a new feature that has been rolling out since last month. The new update will allow you to share these memories through the Google Photos app.
The app has a dedicated sharing tab at the bottom of the app and it offers different ways to share the app, it can suggest photos for you to share and suggest who should you share them with. This feature uses facial recognition, if Google realises you share photos with a regular person with a specific email address, it will offer to send them any new pictures. The tab will also show you pictures and albums that have been shared with you, making it easier to keep track of shared photos. Another feature that adds to the sharing function is automatic sharing of images to another person, it features is optional and can be turned off.
We have seen some devices that already have this function, if you would like to use this feature, you can either wait for the update or check on the Google Play if you can update your app to take full use of it.
