Google is making it easier for users to purchase online goods

Google has a new feature added to their search engine which they aim to make online shopping faster and easier with Google Shopping Ads. These ads will be shown in the search results alongside standard text ads which include product images and other useful product information generated automatically by feeds managed by retailers.

Ramadan and Raya seasons are the best time to shop and because of that, Google has seen that seasonal excitement on their search engine tends to start as early as eight weeks before the festival. They also found that not only Raya goods are being bought, fashion trends, decoration trends, food, and beverage will also surge. This new feature works on it own, as users would just need to input a certain product and if merchant enabled this feature, a listing of their products will appear above the text ad for that search.

Users are not the only ones benefiting from this new feature as Peter Lee, Vice President of Marketing at 11street mention that they have been beta testing this feature with Google since the start of this year and they found that it efficiently drives traffic to their sellers and since the feature went life, 11street has seen a cost-per-acquisition improvement of 85%. Try this new feature for yourself by searching for a product you want to get this Raya.
