Google is updating Wear OS with new features and better health tracking

Google has recently announced that they will be revamping Wear OS that will provide quicker access to your information and notification, better help from Google Assistant and better fitness tracking.

The notification menu has received a nice new update that allows users to swipe up to see all the notifications and if there is an important notification, simply tap on it and use the smart reply. Swiping down will give you access to shortcuts like Google Pay and Find my Phone.

Google Assistant is now more intuitive on Wear OS, you can now swipe to the right and it will show you your flight status or hotel reservation when you are on your way to the airport. It will also tell you when it is raining, meeting appointment and even suggest to you features that you you have not tried.

Lastly, Google Fit has been added with two new activity goals, Hear Points and Move Minutes. It can recommend activities that benefit your heart and mind.

Google has said that these features will be rolled out over the next few months and if you own a Wear OS device, don’t forget to check for updates in the coming weeks.
