Hey Malaysians! Aside from today being the last day of January, it’s also Nasi Lemak Day, and Google is celebrating today with a Google Doodle on its homepage.
Today’s Google Doodle features a short video on Nasi Lemak, one of Malaysian’s most popular dishes. Combining fragrant rice cooked with coconut milk, fried anchovies, peanuts, egg, cucumbers and spicy sambal sauce, Nasi Lemak is indeed a staple food that we Malaysians have been enjoying since young.
What’s so amazing about this dish is that it’s suitable to be eaten at any time of the day, though many would prefer to eat Nasi Lemak during breakfast because it’s both delicious and filling.
On the other hand, Google is also ready to celebrate Lunar New Year with all their fans. The company recently released its Google Play Gift Cards in Malaysia and these gift cards can be purchased at any 7-Eleven outlets across the nation.
These gift cards come in three values; RM50, RM100 and RM200. Android users can purchase apps, games, books and other things that are available in Google Play Store. In addition, every purchase of a Google Play gift card in the month of February will get free in-game reward sets for Mobile Legends. Depending on the value domination, different amount will result in users getting different reward sets. These rewards will also be automatically transferred once the card is redeemed and the game is launched.
