Google begins selling Cardboard VR through its own store

Acquiring a Google Cardboard VR isn’t exactly an easy thing as the company didn’t make this VR headset available in the public. Well, things have changed as Google is now selling the Cardboard VR through the Google Store.

For those who are interested, the Google Cardboard VR is priced at USD 15. If you buy two, you can get both for USD 25. This makes the Google Cardboard VR the cheapest bring-your-own-phone VR solution thus far, although to be fair, the Cardboard VR is a very basic VR headset and is not meant to be a competitor to devices like Samsung’s Gear VR. Nevertheless, if you would like a sneak peek into the whole VR craze, the Cardboard VR is the most afforable way to do so.

Do note however, that if you intend to purchase one, you’re going to have to get it through the American Google Store as Malaysia does not have a Google Store quite yet.
