The 1 billion active Chrome users have certainly increased since then, although there were no reports regarding the statistics by the folks at Google duringthe Chrome Dev Summit.
The Google Chrome browser first made its appearance back in 2008 on Windows, and has come a long way now, being available for other platforms such as Android, iOS, macOS and Linux. Google now has seven of its products that have surpassed a billion users on each – Android, Chrome, Gmail, the Google Play Store, Maps, Search and YouTube, a very huge milestone indeed.
