GOG.com to begin selling early access games

Following in the footsteps of Steam, GOG.com has begun offering early access games to its userbase.

Starting late last night, GOG will be offering these “Games In Development” on their webpage and on the Galaxy store client as well. Much like other titles offered by GOG, these early access games will come with no DRM. Unlike Steam, GOG will allow customers who purchased games under the “Games In Development” to refund those games within 14 days with no questions asked.

Currently, five games are available in the “Games In Development” category. The five games are Starbound, Ashes of the Singularity, Project Zomboid, TerraTech, and The Curious Expedition. All titles are currently discounted to commemorate the launch of GOG’s new early access-style initiative.
