Google first launched Gmail back in April 1, 2004 and it has been 15 years since. Throughout the years, Gmail has been constantly changing with more improvements and fixes, and now Google is bringing in more features for its 15th birthday.

Smart Compose is a feature that uses AI to help users write emails quicker by providing suggestions, and now it’ll include more languages. The updated Smart Compose — previously only on Pixel 3 — will also be available on Android devices, and soon it’ll do the same for iOS.

In addition, the updated Smart Compose will be even smarter because the suggestions are now personalised, meaning that it can analyse your writing style and suggest words/phrases accordingly.

Gmail also emphasised on convenience by introducing email scheduling. Users can now schedule emails to others, so you can actually write an email beforehand and schedule it to send anytime you want. Not only can you avoid interrupting other’s vacation, you can also get your work done before you yourself go for vacation.

For now, iOS users can only be patient and wait for Smart Compose to be available in their devices.
