While some smartphone companies are still holding back on the design on their handsets, there are some that will just go all out with the flow of the current trends. Gionee is one of those companies, and its latest offering tells it all – the Gionee M7.
First of all, the Gionee M7 comes with a brushed metal black, which means that it won’t support wireless charging like majority of today’s flagships. It does however, sport a near bezel-less display on the front. It measures at 6.01-inches in 2160 X 1080 resolution, making it 85% screen to body ratio. Underneath the hood is where we will find the MediaTek Helio P30 chipset for the first time ever, coupled with 6GB of RAM plus 64GB of expandable storage.
The dual camera setup of the Gionee M7 consists of a 16MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP sensor which captures depth of field information for blurred background and portrait shots. The dual rear camera package is also capable of producing 3D images, along with better low light shots with Gionee’s multi frame noise reduction. The handset even comes packing a large 4,000mAh battery, which sums up a really attractive package of a phone.
The Gionee M7 will probably remain as a China exclusive device for the near future. The phone will go for a price of 2,799 CNY (RM 1,777.68), and will come with a pair of Edifier Bluetooth headphones.
