Gionee launches two full screen smartphones with quad cameras

Gionee plans to make a name of its own in its own country China, and in other potential markets such as India. This time, the smartphone maker has launched two new smartphones with a total of 8 cameras from both of them. The Gionee S11 and S11S are attractive looking devices, both of which come with decently impressive flagships.

First off, the Gionee S11. Gionee has opted for a 3D glass build for the S11’s body, similar to the one seen on the Xiaomi Mi 6, with curved corners. On the front you will find a 5.99-inch full screen display at Full HD+ resolution with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Underneath the hood lies a MediaTek Helio P23 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone comes with a 16MP + 5MP rear camera setup and a 16MP + 8MP front facing camera setup. It packs a 3,410mAh battery for its power consumption needs.

The Gionee S11S sports the same build as the regular S11, but comes with a slightly larger 6.01-inch display with the same display aspect ratio. The S11S features a more powerful MediaTek P30 processor with 6GB of RAM and the same amount of 64GB storage. It will theoretically produce sharper images with its 16MP + 8MP rear camera setup and the high resolution 20MP + 8MP selfie camera configuration.
