Genting Malaysia has been offering a lot of events on December, but one of their newest is the new SkySymphony show called Jungle Jam.

The Jungle Jam is an original Computer Generated Animation which is created by Gentling Studios, and the 5-minute show featured Genting mascots that have been known since past generations. The new show premiered at SkySymphony on 18 December, and it featured jungle animals in a jungle setting.

According to Dato’ Edward Holloway, the Executive Vice President of Leisure and Hospitality of Resorts World Genting, the introduction of SkySymphony shows have increased the number of visitors by a million, estimating that there will be 25 million visitors by the end of the year.

The new and original Jungle Jam featured characters such as Allie the Elephant, Tabby the Tiger and Joe the Orangutan which are all Genting mascots that were well-known in the past, but the production has also brought in new characters such as Benny the Entertainer which was previously a clown but now a Malaysian Sun Bear and Callie the Caterpillar who is now Callie the Dragon. The new characters are made to be more relevant to Malaysians, and the Callie the Dragon is inspired by the Chin Swee Caves Temple from the 9 Dragon Wall.

The new characters will not only be appearing in the SkySymphony show, as they will also be appearing at the entrance of Skytropolis Funland, Genting’s new indoor theme park that opened on 8 December 2018.

Apart from that, there were also special screenings of Aquaman starring Jason Momoa and Mortal Engines starring Hera Hilmar, and the DC movie was played in the IMAX hall whereas the latter was played in the D-BOX hall at Bona Cinemas. These two experiences were newly introduced at the beginning of December.
