Google has certainly been busy working behind the scenes lately to give us the best user experience on their own apps. No more than two days back, Tap to Translate was introduced, cutting and eliminating the hassled process of switching between your texting app and the Google Translate app. Now Google has just introduced a new keyboard app, exclusively for the iOS platform.

Introducing Gboard, which pretty much works like its Android counterpart, but with an additional button that makes all the difference. An additional G button is located near the left corner of the keyboard, which brings out a couple of extended features, allowing users to send GIFs, emojis, and also search up information via the integrated Google Search within the keyboard app itself.

For instance, searching up the address of a restaurant that you plan to dine at tonight. Search results will appear as cards, with one tap, the information can be forwarded to your friend whom you’re texting. Like Tap to Translate, searching for information now doesn’t require you to switch between apps. But for now, this feature is only available on Gboard for iOS, so Android users will have to wait for Google Search to be integrated into their Google Keyboard app. What do you think?
