Today, Garmin introduces the Forerunner 245 Music Japan Edition in Malaysia; there are only 100 units of this limited edition smartwatch and it retails at RM1,799.
The Forerunner 245 Music Japan Edition is inspired by the iconic elements of the country — the watch strap is in red and white while the watch face uses Mount Fuji as a theme. This will probably remind Pokemon fans of a Pokeball too. “This limited edition smartwatch is perfect for Malaysians who want to keep an active lifestyle while having a taste of Japanese aesthetics,” said Ivan Ong, Senior Manager of Aeco Technologies San Bhd.
The Forerunner 245 Music is a GPS smartwatch that comes with music and advanced training features. It allows you to store up to 500 songs and can also sync with music streaming services to keep your playlist up to date. It can track various exercises and also offers advanced information on your running activities.
In addition to that, there’s a bunch of health tracking features too; you can track your sleep, blood oxygen saturation level, body battery and also stress levels. There’s also safety features such as incident detection and livetrack, allowing others to keep tabs on you while you’re exercising on your own.
