While Samsung is still dealing with the huge stab from the issues surrounding its Galaxy Note 7 flagship phablet, sources claim that the global recall and exchange of the handset have been making good progress since they were carried out. The Korean manufacturer has reportedly recalled approximately 2.5 million units of the Galaxy Note 7 worldwide.
According to Android Central, 60 percent of the fire prone Galaxy Note 7’s in the United States and homeland South Korea have been recalled. In Singapore, 80 percent of users have managed to exchanged their units for new ones. Despite the tragedies that have occurred, most Galaxy Note 7 users have decided to stick with the Galaxy Note 7 and not jumping ship to another manufacturer. In fact, 90 percent of the users have chose to remain loyal to the handset. Having said that, the Galaxy Note 7 is indeed an impressive phone if not for the explosions.
Samsung is slated to re-open sales of the Galaxy Note 7 in South Korea this coming weekend, whereas the other regions worldwide are said to get the green light some time late October. The company is rumored to re-strengthen their position in India, by launching a huge ad campaign for the phablet on the same day when Apple’s iPhone 7 releases in the country.
