G.SKILL unveils a DDR4 memory module with 4600MHz memory speed

If you thought that your RAM with memory speeds of up to 3000MHz was fast, then G.SKILL is here to tell you that you are wrong because they have just announced a DDR4 RAM with a memory speed of 4600MHz.

Previously, to reach this speeds, one would need to do some extream overclocking using liquid nitrogen cooling, G.SKILL has managed to achieve this without the need of a cooling system and with a total capacity of 16GB in an 8GB x2 configuration. G.SKILL has also provided some screenshots of the product in action using the Intel Kaby Lake-X Core i7-7740X processor on the new ASRock X299 OC Formula motherboard.

This new RAM kit is designed with Intel XMP 2.0 support and the two variations of the memory kit, silver aluminium body and black aluminium body, is set to release at the end of September 2017 and will be available from all authorized G.SKILL distribution partners.
