Facebook is currently running a test on a feature that will allow users to upload a picture or video to their Stories directly from your desktop. Users will even be able to use the webcam to upload a video.

This is another move by the company to make the Stories feature more relevant on their Facebook platform as it would seem they cant get it as popular as it is on Instagram. They have even come to the point of allowing users to crosspost Instagram Stories to Facebook and showing up faded icons of friends that have not posted something for a while. The most recent update is merging Messenger’s Stories with the Facebook app and adding the ability for friends to collaborate Stories into a single event.

Facebook is making an effort to make its Stories feature on Facebook as relevant as Instagram, with this new feature, we might see a boost in the Stories section of Facebook. Do you guys use Facebook Stories? Lets us know what you think about this new upcoming feature.
