Facebook Video now supports Apple TV and Google Chromecast

Want to broadcast a funny video you’ve found on Facebook Video to a bigger screen? Now you can, as Facebook Video can now be sent to an Apple TV or Google Chromecast from a web browser or an iOS device.

Starting from today, every Facebook Video will now come with a Cast button located on the screen. One you tap it, you can select the device you wish to stream the video to. For Facebook Live broadcast videos, broadcasting it to your Apple TV or Chromecast enabled devices will also display real time comments and reactions as well. The best part of the entire thing has to be the fact that once you’ve chosen to broadcast the video onto another source, you can then go back to using your device as per normal.

For now, this feature is not yet available for Android users. That said, Facebook has promised that it will be live soon for Android devices, allowing them to cast videos onto Chromecast or Google Cast-enabled devices.
