Sony Interactive Entertainment has just announced that The Evil Within 2 will be available on Friday the 13 of October 2017 for the PS4 with a retail price of RM229 for the physical copy. Developed by Tango Gameworks and Shinji Mikami who had a hand in the development of Resident Evil and Dino Crisis will be taking the franchise to a new level with a blend of psychological thrills and survival horror.
You play as Detective Sebastian Castellanos, who makes a return from the first game. After the events of the first game, the detective is at his lowest point but when given the chance to save his daughter, enters back into a world filled with nightmares and discover the dark origins of a once-idyllic town to bring her back. The game will give you options when facing enemies, as players can choose if they would want to face them head-on or use the shadows to sneak past them and survive.
The game will include an initial bonus of The Last Chance Pack giving you a chance to survive longer to save your daughter. The pack will include the following items:
- The Burst Handgun – This exclusive weapon is only available through The
Last Chance Pack and uses handgun bullets that can be found or crafted. - Crafting Supplies – Upgrade your go-to weapon, craft additional ammo, or
make traps to incapacitate enemies with these supplies available at the start
of your descent into Union. - Medical Supplies – You’ll need to stay alive to save Lily and these medical
supplies will give you the aid you need to venture deeper into the madness.
