Have you ever dreamed of attending an ESL One tournament but lack the cash to actually leave the country to attend one? Well, your wishes may have just came true as ESL has announced that Malaysia will be playing host to the ESL One next January.
Called ESL One Genting, this eSports tournament will be held at Genting Highlands’ Arena of Stars on the 6th until the 8th of January. The format of the tournament will be familiar to those that follow the ESL One tournament that was held in Manila recently. ESL One Genting will feature seven of the best Dota 2 teams in the world with one Malaysian team receiving a direct invite to the tournament.
ESL One Genting will have a USD250,000 prize pool, which converts to around RM1,012,813. More information about the event will be revealed as the event date draws nearer. For those looking to attend this event, Genting will be announcing ticketing details very soon.
